How to do the Dumbbell Standing Calf Raise
- 1Stand upright with a dumbbell in each hand, arms fully extended by your sides.
- 2Position the balls of your feet on a raised platform or step, with your heels hanging off the edge.
- 3Raise your heels by extending your ankles as high as possible and flexing your calf muscles.
- 4Pause at the top of the movement and then slowly lower your heels back to the starting position.
