How to do the Barbell One-Leg Split Squat
- 1Position a flat bench behind you.
- 2Place a barbell across your upper back and shoulders.
- 3Stand a few feet in front of the bench with your feet shoulder-width apart.
- 4Lift one leg and place the top of your foot on the bench behind you.
- 5Lower your body by bending your front knee until your thigh is parallel to the ground.
- 6Push through your front heel to return to the starting position.
- 7Repeat for the desired number of repetitions and switch legs.
